It samples Inner Circle’s 1992 song, “Sweat (A La La La La Long).” It’s a song of disfunctional love and wanting to reclaim what the couple once had. Anuel AA takes the lead while Shakira plays the role of responding. Over a reggaeton beat, Anuel AA and Shakira take turns, singing the verses and choruses in halves. “Me Gusta” is a catchy but emotional song.
